Shasta Elementary School's FAMILY STAR PARTY is scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, March 17th. This is a FAMILY event, so students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. We will be holding the event rain or shine. If the skies are clear, we will be outside viewing the night sky through telescopes provided by the Shasta Astronomy Club. If it's cloudy, club members will provide us with an astronomy presentation in the gym instead.
Hot Dogs, Chili Dogs, and Nachos will be available for purchase from 6:00-7:00 p.m. or while supplies last. Our 8th graders will also have a variety of bake sale items available with prices ranging from $1.00 - $2.00.
If we're inside, the presentation will start about 7:00. If we're outside, viewing will begin as soon as it's dark and wrap up by 9:00.
